Casino battle shaping up in legislature?

Next week, Bridgeport lawmakers will hold a joint news conference with MGM officials to announce legislation that will be proposed for the upcoming General Assembly session.  The bill will raise the stakes on MGM’s plan to build a $675 million casino in Bridgeport, putting it at odds with the tribal-owned casinos in the state.  On Thursday’s Brad & Dan Show, state Sen. Tony Hwang, R-28th District, will talk about how both sides are missing the big picture in this game of high-stakes casino siting.

Also, the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford and the Western Connecticut Health Network Alliance have announced a new partnership on providing pediatric care.  Dr. Alicia Briggs will talk about this new, healthcare venture.

Plus your calls at 888-574-2723 and Cindy Weightman on traffic.  And Brad & Dan will have the latest on weather, news and sports.

Brad & Dan get your Thursday morning started at 6:00.
