Did Malloy go over top with climate statement?

When President Donald Trump announced that he was pulling the U.S. out of the Paris accords, involving climate change, Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy was among those critical of the move. As head of the Democratic Governor's Association, the governor stated: "Our president effectively signed the death warrants of individuals who will die because we will not make progress on climate change."
