It seems like Dr. Joy Browne has been America's favorite radio psychologist forever. She has a wonderful flair for getting straight to the heart of the matter.
Dr. Joy touches the heart and soul of her listeners with solution-based advice, not opinions. As a licensed psychologist, she offers real, qualified analysis, not preaching or moralizing. And that has made her one of the most consistently successful talk show hosts in America, with a broad audience on radio, television and in publishing.
Dr. Joy’s approach, emotional while clinical, opens people’s willingness to change… Her kinder, gentler style puts her callers at ease and provides a level of comfort that's appreciated by all. Her advice is clever, practical, direct and creative. Joy is able to elicit the most intimate details of the lives of her callers, who consider her their advisor, friend and confidant. Her listeners get a couchside seat to radio's most interesting and intelligent personal problem solver.
