JULIANNE THOMPSON - founder of the "Free America Project." She's a former co-chairman of the Atlanta Tea Party and a former press secretary of the Georgia Republican Party

GOP DEBATE REACTION After weeks of personal sniping, the Republican presidential candidates clashed sharply over immigration and other policies in their debate here on Tuesday, with Gov. John Kasich of Ohio and former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida trying to energize their campaigns by heaping scorn on Donald J. Trump’s plan to deport unauthorized immigrants. In the most substantive Republican debate so far, Mr. Kasich and Mr. Bush, who have been fading in polls, presented themselves as experienced chief executives who had practical solutions to deal with national challenges like immigration. Yet Mr. Trump and another candidate, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, inveighed against what they called amnesty and argued that undocumented workers were driving down Americans’ wages.

MEA WILLIAMS - U.S. Navy Veteran and President/CEO of "Grace After Fire," an organization that directs and oversees all efforts and activities related to developing and implementing an innovative peer-to peer counseling program that assists women Veterans returning to civilian life after service to their country.

VETERANS DAY Americans will celebrate Veterans Day Wednesday, honoring those who have served their country. But have you ever wondered why we celebrate the holiday on a Wednesday and how it all got started? Turns out, Veterans Day as we know it traces its roots back to Alabama. Difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day: Veterans Day is a federal holiday that is celebrated on Nov. 11 each year. It's often confused with Memorial Day, which is set aside to honor those who died serving their country. Veterans Day is for all those who have served in the armed forces.
