Could the balance in the Connecticut state Senate tip toward Republicans for the first time in 20 years? Currently the Senate is tied between Democrats and Republicans at 17-17, but a special election is scheduled on Feb. 28 to fill two vacant seats in the 2nd and 32nd Senatorial Districts.

CT News Junkie columnist Terry Cowgill writes that the GOP is hoping to pick off a normally safe Democratic seat in the 2nd. Democrats may have ideas in both district races, however. Cowgill will join Brad & Dan on Tuesday to discuss the races, including his column about a Republican takeover in the second.

Also, Connecticut Commissioner of Consumer Protection, Jonathan Harris, pays an in studio visit.

As always, we take your phone calls.

Brad Davis starts the proceedings Tuesday at 5 a.m.
