In a sometimes contentious news conference on Thursday, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced that Connecticut's transportation fund is essentially insolvent. Now what?

On Friday's Brad & Dan Show, state Sen. Toni Boucher, a potential gubernatorial candidate and co-chair of the General Assembly's Transportation Committee will comment on the transportation shortfall.

Doug Evans will update us on the Arts Across Connecticut. And we'll meet Susan Regan of Foxfield Recovery Mission on how an equine groundwork PTSD therapy curriculum for U.S. Veterans is proving beneficial.

Jim Dunnels will be providing live reports from our Toys for Tots drop-off at Fancy Bagels in Farmington and we will have your calls at 888-574-2723.

Also, Cindy Weightman will have the traffic. And there's always the latest on weather, news and sports.

Brad & Dan get your "Gateway to the Weekend" started, Friday morning at 6:00.
