Former Pro Bowl running back Phillip Lindsay has agreed on a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts, Lindsay’s agent Mike McCartney posted on Twitter.  Lindsay spent last season with the Texans and then the Dolphins, rushing for 130 yards on 50 carries with one TD in Houston. He went to Miami after being waived by Houston in late November, but only rushed for 119 yards on 38 carries and no TDs in four games played.

The 27-year-old running back earned a trip to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season in 2018, but he missed five games in 2020, dipping in production.  In 2021 with both teams, recording 249 rushing yards and one touchdown on 88 attempts while catching just four passes for 45 yards and a touchdown.

Lindsay joins a Colts team that already has All-Pro Jonathan Taylor, who led the league in rushing yards with 1,811 and rushing touchdowns with 18 in 2021, as well as Nyheim Hines on its depth chart.
