Police have identified a man who died yesterday after a motorcycle and tractor trailer collided on Route 5 in South Windsor on Sunday. Officers say 60 year old Norman Poulin of East Windsor was brought to a hospital where he later died. The cause is being investigated.

Hartford businesses with five or less employees can now apply for $25,000 in grant funding. The $500,000 microgrant program uses funds from the American Rescue Plan and Community Development Block Grants to aid the small businesses.

Two people were arrested Sunday after allegedly trying to break into a locked car in Newington. Officers say 21 year old Daniel Pohl of Hartford and 37 year old Artemis Sims of New Britain are both facing multiple charges.

A Hartford man was arrested after a search warrant was executed at a home in Manchester. Officers say that 28 year old Lorenzo Thornton was taken into custody in connection to an April 30th shooting. Police searched the Seaman Circle home Sunday after they received information Thornton was at the residence.

Two suspects accused of attempting to rob an ATM at the Berkshire Bank in Norwich were arrested in Rocky Hill yesterday after they fled from police. Officers say 24 year old Mark Francis Chee-You and 30 year old Euries Tejada were taken into custody on I-91 after their vehicle drove the wrong way on an off ramp and stopped.
