A man is in critical condition after a shooting in Hartford yesterday. Officers were called to the area of Park and Lafayette Streets after a ShotSpotter activation and found a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound. He was brought to the hospital and is in critical, but stable condition.
A man is in critical condition after a Manchester crash yesterday morning. Crews were called to Wetherell Street after a three wheeled motorcycle crashed into a utility pole. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call police.
A woman in a wheelchair was rescued by East Hartford officers after a fire at 50 Hillside Street. Crews were called to the residence and heavy smoke was seen coming from the first floor. Multiple floors were evacuated, and several officers were treated for smoke inhalation. Flames in the basement were extinguished. The cause is being investigated.
