
One person is dead after a car crash in Glastonbury early yesterday morning. Officers say the driver struck a tree at the intersection of Hopewell Road and Matson Hill Road. That person has not been identified at this time and was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Four women were struck by a driver in Hartford Friday afternoon on Nelson Street. Non-life threatening injuries were reported. The driver fled the scene.
One person was seriously injured after falling off of Ragged Mountain in Southington yesterday. Crews said the climber fell between 20 and 30 feet. He was found at the base of the cliff before being brought to the hospital by LifeStar helicopter.
A 70 year old bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Rocky Hill over the weekend on the Silas Deane Highway. The man suffered serious injuries and is currently in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
A New Britain man is dead after a shooting at a Hookah Lounge in Middletown Sunday morning. The 20 year old victim, who has not been identified at this time, was shot in the parking lot of Hidden Hookah Lounge on South Main Street. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
