The Buffalo Bills defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-17 in the rescheduled AFC wild-card game on Monday night, to advance to the AFC divisional round. The Bills’ Josh Allen threw three touchdown passes and scored on a franchise playoff-record 52-yard touchdown run to help seal the victory. The matchup was originally scheduled to be played at 1 p.m. on Sunday but was postponed to 4:30 p.m. on Monday due to heavy lake affect snow in the region.

Buffalo got off to an early 21-0 lead in the first half while Pittsburgh had two costly turnovers. The Steelers managed to get a touchdown right before halftime to try to keep hope alive, going on a 17-3 scoring run to get to within a touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Bills from victory. Buffalo scored a touchdown with 6:27 remaining thanks after a 17-yard pass from Josh Allen to Khalil Shakir, and would go on to win by a final score of 31-17. Allen finished 21 of 30 for 203 yards and ran for 74 yards on eight carries, becoming the first quarterback in NFL playoff history to throw three or more TD passes while rushing for 70 or more yards and a score.

The Bills will now face the No. 3 Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round at Highmark Stadium on Sunday in Buffalo.
