NBA Playoffs: Thunder, Celtics, Cavaliers and Warriors take Game 1 in first round

In Game 1 of their Western Conference playoff series on Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Memphis Grizzlies in a 131-80 blowout win— marking the fifth-biggest victory margin in NBA postseason history; and the largest victory in a Game 1. Aaron Wiggins scored 21 points, Jalen Williams scored 20 points and Chet Holmgren had 19 points and 10 rebounds; while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored just 15.

The Boston Celtics beat the Orlando Magic 103-86 in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday. Derrick White scored 30 points, while Jayson Tatum finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds after taking a hard fall after a foul by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on a layup attempt. Payton Pritchard added 19 points off the bench for Boston with Jaylen Brown scoring 16 points on 6-of-14 shooting. Game 2 takes place on Wednesday night in Boston.

The Cleveland Cavaliers took a 1-0 series lead over Miami Heat with 121-100 victory, led by Ty Jerome’s stellar 4th quarter performance against Miami.  Cleveland and Miami face off in Game 2 on Wednesday inside Rocket Arena at 7:30 p.m.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets in a 95-85 victory in Game 1 of their playoff series. Stephen Curry scored 31 points (12 of 19 from the field, hitting 5 of 9 3-pointers); while Jimmy Butler added 25 points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals in his playoff debut for the Warriors. Game 2 of the best-of seven series is Wednesday night in Houston.
