
A Hartford woman was found guilty of evading responsibility in connection to the death of 19 year old Isacc Alvarez. 56 year old Sharon Esson of Hartford was arrested in connection to the 2020 crash. Alvarez was riding a skateboard when he was struck by Esson’s vehicle.
Two people were seriously injured after an oil tank exploded in Manchester yesterday morning in the area of 122 Hillard Street at Sandman’s Automotive. Officials say that the explosion happened while a plasma cutter was being used. The incident remains under investigation.

Yesterday the Connecticut House voted on legislation that would outlaw products with high levels of THC from being sold in gas stations and smoke shops. These products would only be allowed to be sold in licensed dispensaries. The legislation is now headed to the Connecticut Senate for approval.
