Police have made an arrest after a woman was found dead in a Hartford apartment on April 26th. Officers say that 41-year-old Angel Roman of Hartford has been arrested for murder and tampering with evidence after 27 year old Stephanie Hayes-Brown was found dead at 10 Marshall Street.

One person is dead after a fire on Park Street in Hartford yesterday. Officers say that the flames started on the second floor of the building. The person who died has not been identified and the cause have not been identified.

Enfield police responded to a fight between two girls in the area of Pearl and Cross Streets yesterday. Officers say that two students from Enfield High School got into a disagreement on social media and it carried over into the next day. Minor injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

Attorney General William Tong announced that his office recently filed a lawsuit against Avid Telecom for the alleged use of illegal robocalls. Tong says that the robocalls violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule and other and other laws as well.
