Police are investigating after a person was stabbed in Hartford on Saturday night. Officers were called after a person showed up at Manchester Memorial Hospital with a stab wound. It was later determined that the stabbing happened in Hartford. Details about the person’s condition were not released.
Life Star was called to a crash in Ellington on Saturday night. Two people were trapped inside a car after it crashed into a Utility pole which came down onto the car on Neiderwerfer Road. The cause of the crash is being investigated. The Archdiocese of Hartford is expected to announce a new archbishop today. Bishop Christopher Coyne, of the Diocese of Burlington, Vermont, is expected to replace Archbishop Leonard Blair. Blair, who is 74 and approaching retirement age, has been the archbishop of the Archdiocese of Hartford since 2013.
A Newington man was found guilty of manslaughter and driving under the influence in connection to a 2017 crash in Farmington that killed Rejean St. Pierre and Benoit Boislard. 60 year old Edward Brozynski was recently found guilty after a trial. He is expected to be sentenced in August.
