We’ve Made It To The Weekend(Almost)! Wrap Up The Week the Brad and Paul way! Here’s what’s on tap:

– Doug Evans updates us on Arts Across Connecticut

– NEIL TOLHURST, A LONG TIME DEMOCRAT, 21 YEAR MEMBER OF HIS DEMOCRATIC TOWN COMMITTEE AND A LONGTIME OPPONENT OF PUTTING ELECTRONIC DRIVING TAXES ON OUR HIGHWAYS, will talk about Tolls

– MATT MORGAN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF JOURNEY HOME, will talk about Hartford, non-profits working together to tackle youth homelessness. Nobody could tell you exact numbers, but there are young people who don’t have a place to call home. Agencies in the state are coming together to tackle youth homelessness. “Five months ago, I couldn’t have said I’ve accomplished this,” said Tiguan Collins. The 23-year-old became homeless in 2018, but he’s been going through the foster system and couch surfing for years.

– Dr. John Poothullil MD, FRCP, Board Certified Physician and author of Diabetes: The Real Cause and the Right Cure., will talk about Heart Month – Easy Diet Fixes To Lower Risk: According to the American Heart Association, poor dietary habits were to blame for 45 percent of deaths caused by heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes. What are some of the biggest culprits? Why do people keep eating them – fried, processed foods, fatty drive thru fare, a bag of chips at midnight – even though they know it’s bad for them? How do you change eating habits? What has to happen?
