JENNIFER STEADMAN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR THE AURORA FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS IN GREATER HARTFORD, will talk about how the foundation invests $110,000 annually in programs that help women and girls complete college with the idea that this is the economic game changer for them. Back in January Brad interviewed me about the high costs of health care and what the Governor and the Legislature should do about them. An invitation was extended to come back on to update you later in the session. There is a bill, HB 7267, that would make coverage more affordable to employees of small business and nonprofit organizations, and individuals who have to buy insurance on their own.
