Gary talked to CBIA President & CEO Chris Depentima about the The Economy Conference, which is coming up on Wednesday, September 4. During the conference, CBIA will release its annual Survey of Connecticut Businesses.

Chris will  preview some of the insights that came out of the survey surrounding cost of doing business, workforce, and the overall economy. He also talked about the conference, which this year will explore the state’s economic challenges and the opportunities for unlocking Connecticut’s enormous potential.

Connecticut Politico and Host of the Capitol Report on WTNH, Liz Kurantowicz joined Brad Davis and Gary Byron to talk about the various businesses that have left Connecticut or went out due to taxes and an unfriendly business environment. Our first guest this morning was a regular, CT GOP Chairman Ben Proto, who talked about some of the state and national elections and the Republican Convention on Monday. Libertarian Presidential Candidate Lars Mapstead came in-studio to introduce himself and explain his strategy. Republican Senate Candidate Matt Corey came on to announce his jumping into the race. Corey talked about his previous run against Chris Murphy. Nick Searcy, the producer of The War on Truth, called in from Hollywood to discuss what really happened on January 6th 2021
