Sean Spicer joined NewsNation as a political contributor in May 2023.

Previously, he served as the 28th White House press secretary and communications director for the Trump administration. Prior to the White House, he was the chief strategist of the Republican National Committee and worked for several members of Congress. He served on the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Naval Academy. Additionally, he hosted one of the top-rated shows on Newsmax TV and was a quarterfinalist on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” in Season 28.

He graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and holds a master’s degree from the U.S. Naval War College.

Mr. Spicer is the author of three bestselling books, The Briefing, Leading America, and Radical Nation.
