Connecticut lawmakers are joining other states that have unveiled proposals to expand government-run health coverage, with plans to extend state health benefits to small businesses and nonprofits, and to explore a public option for individuals.

Sen. Toni Boucher, Serves on the Finance Revenue and Bonding Committee, spoke to Brad about how in 2018, most of the $2 billion Connecticut paid state retirees stayed in Connecticut, but at least $184.5 million went to 4,800 retirees who now live in Florida.
