AMY PARMENTER, MANAGER, PUBLIC AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS AAA ALLIED GROUP, spoke to Brad and Paul about Cold Weather Turns 'Inconvenience' into Emergency. AAA is warning motorists that the extreme cold coming in, the record number of drivers on the road and also the number of vehicles that will be sitting idle for days, will result in thousands of drivers – and their passengers – being stranded in extremely dangerous conditions.

STATE AUDITOR ROB KANE spoke to Brad about how State auditors, ‘stonewalled’ from information, seek more access. The state’s two independent auditors are asking for unfettered access to state data and other contract-related information that state contractors hold for state agencies. Auditors of Public Accounts John C. Geragosian and Robert J. Kane are seeking a clarification to state law because they say some contractors are impeding their watchdog office’s requests for information.

Political  commentator Lori Hopkins-Cavanagh joined Brad and Paul to talk about  energy policies being proposed in Connecticut and The Carbon Tax and Storm Water Runoff Tax.
