Here’s a throwback from 1970! But onto today….the Brad Davis Show rolls on! Here’s what’s on tap this morning:

– SENATOR LEN FASANO will talk about: Regionalism Faces Test in School System Debate. Gara of COST says any proposal that selects a number threshold, Looney’s would consolidate districts for cities and towns with fewer than 40,000, and Duff’s would consolidate for districts of fewer than 2,000 students, is arbitrary, and not what parents are looking for. “At the end of the day unless you have the support of the community, the support of the residents, consolidation isn’t going to work. It has to be a bottom up effort. That’s what we’re supporting. Making sure our residents have a voice. Making sure our town leaders have a voice in shaping the schools in their communities.”

– PETER WOLFGANG, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE FAMILY INSTUTUTE OF CONNECTICUT, will talk about Lawmakers Celebrate Reproductive Freedom with New Legislation. On the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a bipartisan group of lawmakers held a press conference in support of legislation that keeps with Connecticut’s tradition of reproductive freedom. Some of the legislation builds on maternal health initiatives, such as Medicaid reimbursement for doula services and a woman’s right not to be discriminated against by her employer for asking for a quiet and private place to express breast milk for up to three years. Another proposal would exempt breast feeding supplies from sales taxes.

All that and sports with Eric, news of the day and of course, your calls, head exclusively on the Talk of Connecticut!
